What You'll Do10

  • 1Implement 1:1 in-home therapy using ABA strategies like discrete trial training and natural environment training.
  • 2Carry out individualized lessons and behavior plans for children aged 0-5, adjusting based on supervisor feedback.
  • 3Record child progress, graph data, and update data sheets after each session to track skill acquisition.
  • 4Facilitate social skills training through pivotal response training and incidental teaching.
  • 5Communicate with supervisors on child progress and behavior, proposing intervention modifications as needed.
  • 6Collaborate with parents, teachers, and therapists to ensure consistent support across settings.
  • 7Maintain an organized program binder with completed paperwork and required documentation.
  • 8Attend team meetings and professional workshops to enhance ABA knowledge and practice.
  • 9Adhere to the agreed schedule, arriving on time and arranging coverage for missed sessions.
  • 10Uphold client confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2Car required, especially for San Mateo area positions.
  • 3Experience working with children preferred.
  • 4Experience with ABA-based strategies a plus.
  • 5Pursuing undergraduate studies in psychology or education a plus.
  • 6Pass a satisfactory background check.
  • 7Passionate and motivated to help others.
  • 8Patient, sensitive, and empathetic with strong communication skills.
