What You'll Do10
- 1Build tailored treatment plans to promote skill development in daily living, social, and communication domains
- 2Document client progress using a web-based data system and complete session notes within required timelines
- 3Maintain a positive, professional environment during in-person sessions with families and children
- 4Collect and review data to adjust interventions under supervision to optimize outcomes
- 5Support the therapy team during home and community sessions to ensure fidelity of the treatment plan
- 6Collaborate with BCBA/LBA to implement behavior analytic strategies and data collection methods
- 7Engage families to reinforce strategies and carry over learned skills outside sessions
- 8Ensure safety and ethical guidelines are followed during all interactions
- 9Schedule and manage session logistics to maximize effectiveness within designated hours
- 10Contribute to a supportive team culture and ongoing professional development
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Experience working with preschool or elementary-aged children
- 3Experience with children with special needs is a plus
- 4Ability to work on-site in New York, NY
- 5Availability Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (or adjust hours as needed)
- 6Preference for BT or RBT certification and related training
- 7Comfort with documenting progress in a web-based application
- 8Strong communication skills with families, children, and supervision team
- 9Willingness to participate in paid training and supervision sessions
