Overview
You will deliver ABA therapy one-on-one in children's homes across Mineola, NY, under the supervision of a BCBA, following behavior intervention plans and tracking client progress. What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver in-person ABA therapy in a child's home, following behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA.
- 2Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors using Finni Health's digital tools.
- 3Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols with fidelity, adjusting based on real-time observations.
- 4Communicate daily with the BCBA on client updates, challenges, and wins, ensuring alignment on care strategies.
- 5Participate in weekly supervision sessions with a BCBA to refine techniques and discuss client cases.
- 6Attend required team meetings and training sessions, contributing insights from the field.
- 7Maintain a safe, engaging environment during sessions, using play and physical activity to foster learning.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 21+ year experience working with children, ideally in a care or educational setting.
- 3Active CPR certification required.
- 4RBT certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe.
- 5Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client homes in Mineola, NY.
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and kneel, squat, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
- 7Pass a background check as a condition of employment.
