What You'll Do7
- 1Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans under BCBA supervision.
- 2Deliver 1-on-1 in-home and community-based ABA therapy per the client's schedule.
- 3Maintain a safe, positive environment and keep the client on goal each session.
- 4Log daily observations, collecting and reporting data to track client progress.
- 5Receive recurring BCBA supervision to ensure proper ABA techniques.
- 6Build rapport with clients and families to foster effective therapy sessions.
- 7Adapt to changing client needs and schedules with a flexible, part-time commitment.
Requirements9
- 11+ year experience as a Behavior Technician or in ABA therapy.
- 2RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
- 3High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- 5Demonstrated skill in handling confidential information.
- 6Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build rapport with families.
- 7Organized multitasker who thrives in a flexible, in-person environment.
- 8Willingness to travel to client homes and schools within NYC.
