Overview
The Behavior Specialist will own therapeutic services for prevention and intervention in schools. This role scales across multiple locations under BCBA supervision. It differs by focusing on direct student services and staff development.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and implement behavioral interventions while maintaining daily intervention notes
- 2Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and maintain consultation records
- 3Lead staff training on ABA principles and BIP implementation
- 4Develop individualized behavior management programs for classroom and home settings
- 5Oversee Individual Home Training programs and provide district family consultations
- 6Collaborate with teachers and specialists in team meetings
- 7Drive program improvements based on assessment data
- 8Supervise paraprofessionals in executing behavioral strategies
- 9Address parent concerns through direct communication with the Special Education Coordinator
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification preferred
- 3Bachelor's degree in related field
- 42 years related experience
- 5Certified BCBA certification required
