Behavior Analyst Mentee, BCBA Track at Arizona Autism
Overview
Own the early clinical experience in ABA with supervised fieldwork toward BCBA certification. Earn fieldwork hours while receiving mentorship in a pediatric therapy setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to client progress using evidence based practices. This role provides paid hours, exam support, and clear paths toward BCBA advancement.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assist with initial and ongoing behavioral assessments including data collection for FBA
- 2Implement individualized ABA treatment plans written by the supervising BCBA
- 3Carry out behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and teach new skills
- 4Collect, record, and graph behavioral data and maintain clinical documentation
- 5Participate in ongoing supervision and incorporate feedback to develop BCBA competencies
- 6Collaborate with RBTs, BCBAs, and other team members to ensure coordinated care
- 7Support families by modeling ABA strategies and sharing progress with the supervising BCBA
- 8Document treatment plans, progress notes, and submission of insurance documentation
- 9Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in line with BACB guidelines
- 10Attend team meetings and trainings as assigned
Requirements5
- 1Must be enrolled in or eligible for enrollment in a BACB approved Master’s degree program
- 2Working toward BCBA certification
- 3Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ
- 4Pay range $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
- 5Experience with data collection and documentation in clinical settings (preferred)
