BCBA for Housing Advocacy Vocational and Employment - Onsite DC Area
Overview
Own a pivotal role delivering evidence based behavioral support at scale within a mission driven nonprofit. You will lead functional assessments, design BIPs, and supervise staff to help individuals thrive in community settings. You will partner with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across settings and document in line with BACB ethics. This role blends clinical expertise with coaching, supervision, and program development for sustainable impact.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs to drive measurable client progress
- 2Provide direct ABA therapy and oversee implementation of behavior analytic programming to deliver outcomes
- 3Supervise and mentor RBTs and behavior technicians to uphold high standards of care
- 4Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans
- 5Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent program implementation
- 6Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with BACB ethics and standards
- 7Provide training and parent caregiver coaching to support skill generalization across settings
Requirements7
- 1Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
- 2Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Special Education or related field
- 3Experience conducting FBAs and developing and implementing BIPs
- 4Strong knowledge of ABA principles verbal behavior and evidence-based practices
- 5Experience supervising RBTs or behavior technicians preferred
- 6Excellent communication organizational and problem solving skills
- 7Compassionate client centered approach with a commitment to ethical practice
