Overview
You will own behavioral programming for K-12 students in an Adaptive Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE) program near Chicago, IL, supporting learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities. This full-time contract role offers a set 32.5-hour workweek during the 2026-2027 school year. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based supports that build communication, social, and self-regulation skills. Your work directly advances student independence and meaningful progress.
What You'll Do5
- 1Conduct functional behavior assessments and design individualized behavior intervention plans for students in the ABLE program.
- 2Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral supports across classroom and school settings.
- 3Monitor student progress through data collection and adjust interventions based on ABA principles and outcome data.
- 4Facilitate staff training and provide ongoing coaching for team members engaged in the ABLE program.
- 5Maintain accurate documentation and shape behavior plans to meet program and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements5
- 1Hold Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- 2Demonstrate 2+ years of experience in a school or educational setting.
- 3Show proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
- 4Have a strong background working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities.
