Overview
Own the craft of KUZA’s beverage program with precise cocktail execution and guest connection at scale. Be part of a collaborative FOH team in a high-energy, culturally inspired environment. You will execute drinks, support service flow, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards. What You'll Do10
- 1Build craft cocktails with accuracy and consistency to enhance guest experience
- 2Design and prepare beverages using KUZA’s Japanese-inspired ingredients and techniques
- 3Provide informed recommendations on cocktails, sake, and Japanese whisky to guests
- 4Maintain organized wells and clean workstations to support fast service
- 5Collaborate with servers, barbacks, runners, and hosts to optimize bar flow during peak hours
- 6Execute opening, mid-shift, and closing duties with precision
- 7Coach teammates on recipe accuracy and garnish presentation
- 8Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with AZ liquor laws
- 9Manage drawer, comp/void approvals, and POS accuracy during service
- 10Support batching, syrup production, and prep for the beverage program
Requirements10
- 11–2 years bartending experience required
- 2Craft cocktail or Asian-influenced bar experience a plus
- 3Strong mixology skills and attention to detail
- 4Ability to multitask at a rapid pace while staying composed
- 5AZ Food Handler Card and Liquor Certification (or ability to obtain)
- 6Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- 7Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays
- 8Professional appearance and grooming aligned with KUZA standards
- 9Willingness to learn KUZA’s beverage style and cultural elements
- 10Excellent guest service and hospitality mindset
