Overview
You will keep bar stations fully stocked for 2,500+ guests at the Kimmel Center, Academy of Music, and Miller Theater. You back up bartenders during high-volume shows, move kegs, pour drafts, and enforce alcohol safety. This part-time role pays $19.00/hr plus tips, with 401(k) matching. You work events only, with flexible scheduling.
What You'll Do8
- 1Stock bars with nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages, ice, and supplies before each event.
- 2Sweep and mop bar floors, clean and stack mats, empty trash, and keep storage closets clear.
- 3Move kegs in and out of coolers, tap kegs, and change draft barrels.
- 4Pour draft beer and wine for guest orders, and run refills of fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers.
- 5Check that all bar equipment operates and stays clean before doors open.
- 6Spot visibly intoxicated guests and alert bartenders to support responsible service.
- 7Maintain sanitation and safety standards throughout the venue.
- 8Meet the attendance standard for every scheduled event.
Requirements6
- 11+ years working in a high-volume bar or event setting.
- 2Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit as required by state and federal law.
- 3Ability to lift and move 50+ lb kegs and stand for long shifts.
- 4Basic math skills to track inventory counts and percentages.
- 5Clear communication with bartenders, managers, and guests in a busy environment.
- 6Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule.
