Join our vibrant team as a Bar Server at Angry Crab Shack in Las Vegas Nevada. You will deliver exceptional beverage and food service in a lively upscale environment showcasing hospitality skills and sales abilities.
What You'll Do7
- 1Greet guests warmly and provide attentive friendly service throughout their visit
- 2Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS ensuring swift processing of sales transactions
- 3Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails spirits wine and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- 4Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- 5Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables handling food safely and ensuring a tidy service area
- 6Process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- 7Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements8
- 1Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferably with fine dining exposure
- 2Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits wine and cocktails
- 3Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS Micros POS or similar platforms experience with OpenTable is a plus
- 4Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- 5Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards
- 6Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely
- 7Knowledge of food safety protocols sanitation practices and proper food handling procedures
- 8Previous experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required
