What You'll Do10
- 1Serve food and beverages to guests at the bar with warmth and precision.
- 2Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and uphold responsible alcohol service.
- 3Take orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
- 4Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
- 5Peel, slice, and pit fruit safely for garnishes.
- 6Follow TAM and ACT certification guidelines to prevent over-serving.
- 7Process transactions using the POS system, prepare checks, and handle payments.
- 8Arrange glasses and bottles into attractive displays and maintain bar aesthetics.
- 9Ensure clean glasses, bar equipment, and work areas meet hygiene standards.
- 10Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed.
Requirements9
- 1Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
- 2Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, classic cocktails, and beverage trends.
- 3Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- 4Ability to work under pressure while keeping attention to detail.
- 5Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) preferred.
- 6High-level knowledge of drink recipes, spirits, wine, and beer.
- 7Understanding of alcohol classes, glass types, brand names, and garnishes.
- 8Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 9Ability to stand for long periods.
