Banquet Bartender, Hospitality & Casino Service
Overview
Own guest service within a casino setting at scale, ensuring safe alcohol service and adherence to regulations. Work with a team to deliver premium beverage experiences and maintain presentation standards. This role emphasizes hospitality, compliance, and fast-paced service through the GILA WAY. You will collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate service.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build guest interactions and upsell premium wine, beer, and spirits to drive guest satisfaction
- 2Provide attentive, friendly service and maintain positive communication with internal and external guests
- 3Observe guest behavior for signs of intoxication and respond in accordance with safety policies
- 4Ensure timely pickup and service of food items when available from the kitchen
- 5Maintain knowledge of beverages, food offerings, and special menu items to answer guest questions
- 6Promote high standards of quality, presentation, and guest experience
- 7Assist as server assistant when needed to support smooth service operations
- 8Perform special projects and duties as assigned
- 9Uphold safety and compliance with environmental health and alcohol awareness requirements
- 10Adhere to the GILA WAY in every guest interaction
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Experience in fast-paced, high-volume bar, restaurant, or nightclub preferred
- 3General wine beer and spirit knowledge preferred
- 4Must acquire and maintain valid Gila River Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, BBP and other required trainings
- 5Ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision
- 6Excellent guest service skills and strong telephone etiquette
- 7Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
- 8Ability to understand Enterprise Policies and Government regulations relevant to responsibilities
- 9Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ and comply with casino environment regulations
