What You'll Do11

  • 1Research and respond to delinquent loan inquiries and bankruptcy matters
  • 2Monitor compliance with credit union policies and debt collection regulations
  • 3File proofs of claim and maintain bankruptcy plan trackers
  • 4Update account records with payment activity and recommend relief motions
  • 5Review motions to value and ensure lien reconveyance
  • 6Analyze bankruptcy plans and recommend objections to protect recoveries
  • 7Document account summaries and actions for escalated recovery efforts
  • 8Prepare accounts for legal action based on recovery strategies
  • 9Contact members trustees and attorneys to negotiate repayment plans
  • 10Track attorney-referred civil action accounts
  • 11Maintain knowledge of applicable laws including SCRA FDCPA TCPA FCRA BSA bankruptcy statutes

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in finance law or related field with 5+ years experience
  • 2Expertise in bankruptcy litigation loss mitigation and account recovery
  • 3Strong understanding of member care charge-offs repossessions reinstatements and expulsions
  • 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel Word Outlook
  • 5Ability to work in hybrid remote Sacramento location
  • 6Knowledge of anti-money laundering requirements and wage garnishments
  • 7Experience with legal documentation and negotiation skills
  • 8Attention to detail organizational skills and time management abilities
