What You'll Do7
- 1Design and implement cloud data architectures on Azure that support enterprise-scale analytics and AI workloads.
- 2Lead the migration of on-premises data systems to Azure and Synapse, ensuring security and governance.
- 3Build data pipelines and ETL processes using Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake.
- 4Develop data models and schemas for efficient storage and retrieval, optimizing for performance and cost.
- 5Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable advanced analytics and Machine Learning initiatives.
- 6Establish data governance frameworks and best practices for data quality, lineage, and access control.
- 7Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement in data engineering.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 25+ years designing and implementing data architectures on Azure.
- 3Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake.
- 4Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing.
- 5Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
- 6Experience with Kubernetes and containerization for data workloads.
- 7Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
