Overview

Own strategic partnerships with global ISVs, accelerating AWS adoption across Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) customers in US Federal, State & Local, Education, Healthcare, and Nonprofit verticals. Drive joint go-to-market strategies, co-sell pipeline development, and executive alignment with AWS field teams. Navigate FedRAMP, IL4/5/6, and StateRAMP compliance to ensure partner solutions meet government requirements. Your work establishes AWS as the backbone for mission-critical public sector applications.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Own the strategic public sector partner relationship, acting as primary contact for joint business planning and executive alignment across WWPS segments.
  • 2Define and execute joint go-to-market strategies to accelerate AWS adoption, focusing on mission-critical use cases in Federal, State & Local, Education, Healthcare, and Nonprofit.
  • 3Drive co-sell pipeline development and revenue growth by qualifying joint opportunities with public sector end-customers using AWS GovCloud and classified environments.
  • 4Collaborate with AWS field teams, solutions architects, and service teams to integrate partner models with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and EC2 accelerated computing.
  • 5Navigate compliance and security requirements including FedRAMP, IL4/5/6, StateRAMP, and ITAR for partner deployments and data residency.
  • 6Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast for joint GTM opportunities tied to partner model releases and infrastructure dependencies.
  • 7Build executive-level relationships with partner leadership, delivering quarterly business reviews on pipeline health, win/loss analysis, and adoption metrics.
  • 8Serve as internal voice for the partnership across AWS WWPS leadership, ensuring alignment on prioritization, resource allocation, and escalation paths.

Requirements9

  • 15+ years developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • 25+ years professional or military experience.
  • 35+ years working with cloud technology services including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and Networking.
  • 45+ years go-to-market, business development, sales, or consulting experience.
  • 55+ years with data and AI technologies including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and Storage.
  • 6Bachelor's degree.
  • 7Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications.
  • 8Experience explaining complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • 9Experience presenting to technical and non-technical executive audiences.
