Overview
You will own installation, repair, and troubleshooting of avionics systems on 737 MAX and A330 aircraft in a heavy maintenance and modification program. Work hands-on with wiring, electrical systems, and avionics components in a large MRO hangar. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules and quality standards. What You'll Do9
- 1Install and repair avionics systems on 737 MAX and A330 aircraft, supporting heavy maintenance and modification programs.
- 2Interpret task orders, maintenance manuals, Engineering Orders, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to plan and execute work accurately.
- 3Route, terminate, secure, and label electrical and avionics harnesses per engineering specifications and aviation standards.
- 4Test avionics and electrical systems to verify operation, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
- 5Troubleshoot electrical and avionics issues, diagnose root causes, and perform corrective actions to restore system functionality.
- 6Install, remove, and re-install aircraft interiors to access avionics and electrical systems, ensuring proper fit and security.
- 7Use hand tools, test equipment, and installation tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- 8Follow documented procedures and quality standards for avionics installation and repair in a commercial MRO environment.
- 9Maintain an organized work area and manage personal tool inventory per the minimum tool list.
Requirements10
- 12+ years of avionics installation and repair experience for Tech I, or 4+ years for Tech II.
- 2Hands-on experience with avionics systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting on commercial aircraft.
- 3Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and Engineering Orders.
- 4Proficiency in wiring routing, termination, and testing for electrical and avionics harnesses.
- 5Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing and correcting issues in avionics and aircraft electrical systems.
- 6Experience with aircraft interiors removal and installation, with 4+ years in that area.
- 7Familiarity with avionics systems, repair practices, and aircraft electrical standards.
- 8Capability to use standard aviation and installation tools safely and effectively, adhering to a defined minimum tool list.
- 9Ability to work any assigned shift, including weekends, and support overtime requirements.
- 10Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and reach in aircraft and hangar environments.
