Avionics Installation Technician, Aircraft Completions
Overview
You will own the installation of avionics options and STC modifications on PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft at Pilatus' completions center in Broomfield, CO. Build and terminate wire harnesses, perform pitot/static testing, and certify work under FAR 91.411/91.413. Work within a team of 3,000+ employees across a dedicated 118,000 sq ft facility. This role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge avionics and a clear path for certification and growth.
What You'll Do8
- 1Install aircraft options and modifications, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and company standards.
- 2Fabricate, assemble, and terminate wire harnesses using crimp and solder techniques, testing continuity and power.
- 3Perform pitot/static system modifications and testing, including FAR 91.411 and 91.413 certification.
- 4Document work progress in job cards and acceptance test procedures, maintaining accurate records.
- 5Inspect incoming aircraft and parts per repair station manual, verifying quality and compliance.
- 6Adhere to FAA and FOCA regulations and guidelines, using safety equipment and following safety protocols.
- 7Clean and detail aircraft, assist in movement, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
- 8Work overtime as required and support team goals in a dynamic completions environment.
Requirements9
- 12-4 years of avionics installation experience in PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft.
- 2High school diploma or GED required; avionics accreditation or technical training preferred.
- 3FAA A&P license or ability to meet FAR 65.101 for repairman certificate preferred.
- 4Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
- 5Strong attention to detail and quality with a focus on precision.
- 6Physical capability to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- 7Proficiency with hand tools and specialized test equipment.
- 8Basic computer skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 9Must meet ITAR criteria as a U.S. person under 22 CFR 120.62.
