What You'll Do11
- 1Provide excellent customer service
- 2Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- 3Diagnose cause of any malfunction and execute repairs
- 4Coordinate with parts department to secure necessary components
- 5Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- 6Conduct road tests or refer to test technician as needed
- 7Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- 8Maintain a clean vehicle exterior and interior
- 9Report safety issues or machinery malfunctions to supervisor
- 10Ensure shop area remains organized and tidy
- 11Operate tools safely and comply with all regulatory standards
Requirements10
- 1Automotive and engine repair experience required
- 2ASE certification a plus
- 3Valid driver's license
- 4High school diploma or equivalent
- 5Ability to read and interpret data for accurate records
- 6Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems
- 7Experience with diagnostic equipment
- 8Experience with Dealertrack and X-time
- 91 year automotive technician experience
- 10Compliance with federal state and local regulations
