Overview
You own the diagnostic bay and lead the team for Tires Plus in Philadelphia, a store under Bridgestone Retail Operations. You diagnose drivability and electrical issues across brake, hydraulic, suspension, and alignment systems while mentoring junior techs. What You'll Do6
- 1Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems to spec.
- 2Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers clearly.
- 3Stay current with automotive technology through paid ASE training.
- 4Assist and train junior technicians in performing technical activities.
- 5Earn ASE certifications in at least three of A1-A8 within two years.
- 6Drive customer satisfaction by mentoring the team toward efficient, accurate fixes.
Requirements8
- 1Valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- 2Demonstrated skill in brake and hydraulic systems, plus steering and suspension alignment.
- 3Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
- 4Current federal, state, or local certification or license where applicable.
- 5Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
- 6Reading, writing, and math skills.
- 73+ years of automotive repair experience, demonstrated skills via third-party assessments, or completion of Vocational-Technical School Program.
- 8ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 or L1.
