What You'll Do10
- 1Diagnose issues across Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen models using diagnostic tools and schematics.
- 2Repair engines, transmissions, and powertrains to factory specifications.
- 3Replace suspension components including shocks, struts, and brakes to restore handling and safety.
- 4Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, and wheel alignments per manufacturer guidelines.
- 5Interpret technical manuals and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex faults.
- 6Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for precise part replacement.
- 7Document all work in service records, ensuring compliance with shop standards.
- 8Collaborate with the service team to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
- 9Stay current on VW/Audi/Porsche repair techniques and recalls.
- 10Inspect vehicles post-repair to confirm safety and performance.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in automotive repair, with Porsche/Audi/VW experience preferred.
- 2Strong mechanical knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, and powertrains.
- 3Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II, VCDS) and reading schematics.
- 4Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
- 5Knowledge of electrical systems, suspension (shocks & struts), and wheel alignment.
- 6Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
- 7Commitment to high safety and quality standards in every repair.
- 8Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
