What You'll Do8
- 1Perform maintenance and repairs on BMW and Audi/VW vehicles, including BMW, Audi, and VW models.
- 2Identify problems using BMW and Audi/VW diagnostic equipment, then plan repair procedures with charts and manuals.
- 3Explain repairs and issues to customers, delivering clear communication and building trust.
- 4Test parts and systems, including BMW and Audi/VW specific electronic and mechanical systems.
- 5Execute basic service tasks: inspections, periodic maintenance, and multi-point checks.
- 6Learn performance modifications and install parts for BMW, Audi, and VW vehicles.
- 7Keep the shop organized and maintain a professional appearance.
- 8Use shop management software to document work and type technician notes.
Requirements10
- 15+ years working with BMW or Audi/VW vehicles (required).
- 2Diagnostic skills with BMW and Audi/VW diagnostic equipment and tire service tools.
- 3Understanding of vehicle-specific systems and chassis codes for BMW and Audi/VW.
- 4Own tools, including standard and specialty tools for German vehicles.
- 5Computer skills for typing notes and using shop management software.
- 6Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 7Self-motivated, works well with others, and maintains punctuality.
- 8Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- 9High school diploma or equivalent; automotive training or equivalent experience.
- 10Experience with performance parts installation is a plus.
