What You'll Do8
- 1Lead and coach a team of Audi technicians, setting daily priorities and fostering a collaborative culture.
- 2Diagnose advanced drivability, electrical, and network concerns using VAG diagnostic systems and factory procedures.
- 3Ensure all repairs meet Audi factory standards for quality and efficiency, conducting final quality checks.
- 4Partner with service advisors to translate technical findings into clear customer recommendations.
- 5Drive shop productivity by monitoring workflow, balancing bay assignments, and reducing repair times.
- 6Mentor technicians through real-time coaching and structured training sessions, using Audi training resources.
- 7Support technician development by identifying skill gaps and creating individualized improvement plans.
- 8Champion a positive, safety-first work environment that values input from every team member.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of dealership technician experience, preferably with Audi, Volkswagen, or other European luxury brands.
- 2Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Team Lead, or Lead Technician in an automotive service environment.
- 3Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills, including use of OEM scan tools and multimeters.
- 4Track record of mentoring and developing technicians, with a focus on technical growth and team cohesion.
- 5Working knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS) such as Reynolds and Reynolds or CDK.
- 6Audi certifications are a plus, or a demonstrated willingness to obtain them.
- 7Passion for leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with a commitment to factory standards.
