Automation Attendant - MGS Manufacturing
Overview
We seek an Automation Attendant to support automated assembly machinery and improve processes at our Minneapolis facility. The ideal candidate will work comfortable standing and rotating between workstations for 12-hour shifts. This role offers more time off while maintaining full-time pay.
What You'll Do7
- 1Perform basic automation cell troubleshooting
- 2Support production runs by interpreting alarms and clearing jams
- 3Assist with training operators on assembly machines
- 4Troubleshoot equipment including pad printers and sonic welders
- 5Identify unsafe equipment and ensure safe operation before startup
- 6Operate automation cells and serve as first-line technical resource
- 7Assist in writing technical documentation for training materials
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 21-2 years related experience preferred
- 3Forklift certification preferred
- 4Familiarity with injection molding machines and positioning robots
- 5Lockout/Tagout certification preferred
