Overview
You will train to become a certified auto glass technician at Safelite, mastering installation, repair, and recalibration. The program includes paid hands-on and classroom training, leading to SafeTech certification. You will work onsite in Boston, learning from experienced techs. Starting pay is $25.50/hour, rising to $30.25/hour after certification.
What You'll Do7
- 1Install and repair auto glass under supervision, following Safelite techniques.
- 2Recalibrate automotive safety systems using computerized diagnostic tools.
- 3Complete diagnostic testing and troubleshoot issues independently.
- 4Pass testing to earn SafeTech certification and perform unsupervised work.
- 5Safely operate company vehicles and handle tools and chemicals.
- 6Provide additional services and products to customers.
- 7Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all policies.

- 1High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 2Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- 318+ years old.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
