Overview

You will lead audit and assurance client relationships for the TMT Technology sector at RSM, driving quality, growth, and consistent delivery. What You'll Do10

  • 1Serve as audit engagement leader, managing financial statements and client deliverables for multiple GAAP reporting entities.
  • 2Oversee engagement status and milestones for complex audit projects, including multi-entity and high-risk portfolios.
  • 3Identify technical accounting matters early and coordinate with firm specialists on US GAAP and US GAAS issues.
  • 4Review work product and communicate audit status to clients, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • 5Build client relationships throughout the year to understand business goals and ensure retention and growth.
  • 6Manage profitability, billing, and collections, aligning engagement economics with firm expectations.
  • 7Assess risk and design audit procedures using digital audit tools and global delivery resources.
  • 8Develop external relationships and centers of influence to support business growth and brand presence.
  • 9Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members, fostering technical depth and leadership.
  • 10Lead with an enterprise mindset, aligning decisions to long-term firm value and cultural stewardship.

Requirements10

  • 113+ years of progressive public accounting and external audit experience, with significant leadership of complex audits.
  • 2Active CPA credential or equivalent professional certification.
  • 3Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 4Deep technical mastery of US GAAP and US GAAS standards.
  • 5Proven track record of building a substantial client portfolio, including new business and retention.
  • 6Demonstrated leadership managing multiple large or complex audit portfolios and senior teams.
  • 7Strong business development and strategic leadership skills, with ability to shape market strategy.
  • 8Excellent stakeholder management, with ability to interact with senior executives, boards, and audit committees.
  • 9Flexibility to travel and manage demanding workloads in response to client and market pressures.
  • 10Strong ethical judgment and commitment to independence and quality standards.
