What You'll Do7
- 1Process and refine French voice recordings destined for TTS and speech AI platforms.
- 2Carry out audio cleanup tasks like trimming silence, reducing or removing breaths, de-clicking, de-essing, and suppressing background noise.
- 3Run thorough quality assurance checks on each file, flagging issues like clipping, distortion, background artifacts, and inconsistent loudness levels.
- 4Ensure all audio adheres to the exact technical specifications required for ML training pipelines.
- 5Listen critically to evaluate French pronunciation, naturalness, and overall fluency in every recording.
- 6Work through large batches of recordings efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and throughput.
- 7Collaborate with teams handling French speech datasets, voice talent sessions, and model training workflows.
Requirements7
- 1Native or near-native French speaker with excellent listening intuition for French speech nuances.
- 2Hands-on experience editing speech or voice recordings — not just music — with a solid grasp of speech audio quality standards.
- 3Proficiency with iZotope RX, Pro Tools, or comparable audio restoration software.
- 4Ability to detect and fix artifacts, inconsistencies, and technical defects in recorded dialogue.
