What You'll Do7
- 1Handle intellectual property litigation matters in federal court including patent trademark copyright and trade secret disputes
- 2Provide general IP-related advice and conduct document and data reviews managing e-discovery
- 3Conduct and defend depositions and manage law and motion work
- 4Prepare and respond to written discovery requests and participate in arbitration and trial proceedings
- 5Prepare trademark copyright and patent applications and handle USPTO administrative proceedings such as opposition cancellation and IPR matters
- 6Drive substantive motions at court hearings and collaborate across a multi-office environment
- 7Support a growing docket of IP litigation alongside other areas like USPTO administrative proceedings
Requirements10
- 12-5+ years of experience handling intellectual property litigation matters
- 2Familiarity with USPTO administrative proceedings including trademark opposition cancellation and IPRs
- 3Admission to the California Bar in good standing
- 4Experience with trademark patent copyright or trade secret litigation in federal court with USPTO or ITC experience preferred
- 5Exposure to general business commercial or employment litigation
- 6Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-office platform
- 7Strong legal research writing and advocacy skills
- 8Proficiency in conducting and defending depositions and managing e-discovery
- 9Experience with law and motion work and argumentation
- 10Qualified to work in the United States without sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
