What You'll Do9

  • 1Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle, performing diagnostics, programming, and calibrations within the first 90 days.
  • 2Execute wire and connector repairs with precision, using multimeters and power probes to diagnose electrical issues.
  • 3Conduct test drives to verify system functionality, confirming successful repair outcomes before departure.
  • 4Document all services clearly, ensuring calibrations meet OEM guidelines and receive approval prior to execution.
  • 5Communicate with shops and internal stakeholders professionally, managing difficult situations with transparency and urgency.
  • 6Participate in team meetings and training sessions, staying current on ATE and OEM protocols via Champions Connect.
  • 7Maintain and secure ATE-issued tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring readiness for each job.
  • 8Complete final billing before leaving each site, following MCP guidelines to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • 9Work assigned schedule including Saturday coverage as required by market needs, adapting to varying service commitments.

Requirements11

  • 12-5+ years of automotive experience servicing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
  • 2Strong working knowledge of ADAS and electrical services, including calibrations (levels 1-3), programming, diagnostics, and wire/connector repair.
  • 3Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power probes, and resistors.
  • 4Ability to perform and interpret vehicle health scans using both factory and non-factory tools, including Autel and OPUS.
  • 5Skilled in reading and interpreting OEM and aftermarket service information and wiring schematics.
  • 6Ability to program vehicle modules using factory or approved non-factory software, such as ODIS for VW or Techstream for Toyota.
  • 7Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical findings to shop staff and customers.
  • 8Technologically savvy with proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • 9Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency, self-motivation, and a positive, professional representation of the ATE brand.
  • 10Willingness to travel daily using a company vehicle, with a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • 11Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in automotive shop environments.
