What You'll Do11
- 1Provide sophisticated counsel on U.S. and global cybersecurity regulations for financial institutions
- 2Serve as primary legal contact for cybersecurity inquiries from regulators
- 3Monitor global regulatory developments and advise leadership on compliance enhancements
- 4Lead legal strategy for complex multi-jurisdictional incident response and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners
- 5Develop enterprise incident response protocols including tabletop exercises and crisis-management structures
- 6Advise on legal risks related to ransomware data breaches and emerging cybersecurity threats
- 7Draft negotiate and advise on vendor and client cybersecurity agreements
- 8Partner with procurement security technology and business stakeholders to align contracts with risk management
- 9Serve as trusted advisor to CISO technology and operational risk teams on cybersecurity and data-risk strategy
- 10Promote collaborative culture within GLCR department and act as thought leader in cybersecurity legal community
- 11Deliver strategic pragmatic legal guidance that balances protection and business innovation
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 210+ years legal experience supporting incident response and cyber-risk management in regulated environment
- 3CIPP-US or CISSP certification preferred
- 4J.D. from accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law
- 5Deep knowledge of cybersecurity laws and regulatory expectations for financial services
- 6Exceptional communication problem-solving and crisis-management abilities
- 7Highly collaborative adaptive business-focused approach
