What You'll Do6
- 1Manage a caseload of 40+ personal injury matters from intake to resolution, driving strategy and deadlines.
- 2Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and trial documents for Virginia Circuit Court and General District Court.
- 3Appear in court for hearings, mediations, depositions, negotiations, and trials, representing plaintiffs.
- 4Advise clients on case strategy, legal risks, and settlement options, building trust through clear communication.
- 5Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and trial preparation, preparing witnesses and exhibits.
- 6Track legal fees collected quarterly to maximize bonus tiers, aligning case outcomes with firm targets.
Requirements7
- 13-5+ years in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
- 2Trial experience in Virginia Circuit Court handling plaintiff PI matters.
- 3Barred in VA, MD, or D.C., with preference for VA or MD.
- 4Experience in General District Court preferred.
- 5Proven case management skills for high-volume dockets.
- 6Strong advocacy, drafting, and client communication abilities.
- 7Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
