What You'll Do7
- 1Defend healthcare providers and institutions in complex medical malpractice litigation
- 2Manage cases through all litigation phases including drafting pleadings and motions
- 3Conduct legal research and develop trial strategy with medical experts
- 4Take depositions including expert and treating provider testimony
- 5Participate in mediations arbitration hearings and trials
- 6Maintain client contact and provide strategic litigation guidance
- 7Collaborate with trial attorneys on high-stakes healthcare litigation
Requirements9
- 1J.D. from an accredited law school with active Washington State Bar membership
- 23+ years civil litigation experience with insurance or medical malpractice focus
- 3Strong understanding of civil procedure evidence and trial strategy
- 4Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy abilities
- 5Experience handling discovery deposition and motion practice
- 6Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- 7Professional client-focused communication skills
- 8Genuine interest in courtroom advocacy and trial work
- 9Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
Salary Insight
$115 - $155k per year
