What You'll Do9
- 1Build and manage a full litigation docket from initial answer through jury verdict.
- 2Draft pleadings, motions, and court filings with precision and timeliness.
- 3Lead discovery including drafting responses and coordinating with clients.
- 4Design legal research on insurance defense matters to support strategy.
- 5Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and site inspections.
- 6Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to align on case strategy.
- 7Mentor junior staff and contribute to case management decisions.
- 8Collaborate with partners to develop defenses and trial plans.
- 9Contribute to maintaining a high quality of client service and professional standards.
Requirements6
- 1Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
- 24-6 years of experience in insurance defense or insurance coverage
- 3Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- 4Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- 5Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX 77057
