Assistant Teacher Float Wonderspring
Overview
Support Havertown Center by assisting teachers across multiple classrooms ensuring consistent care and coverage for older toddlers preschool and kindergarten students. Provide active supervision maintain safe clean organized environments and build strong relationships with children families and staff. Lead teacher will assign specific tasks to align with center needs.
What You'll Do7
- 1Step into different classrooms to provide coverage and maintain appropriate ratios
- 2Support daily routines and classroom activities
- 3Provide continuous supervision to keep children safe
- 4Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues
- 5Follow lead teacher instructions for classroom management
- 6Maintain tidy and organized learning spaces
- 7Assist with transitioning between activities and managing group dynamics
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 22+ years of childcare experience preferred
- 3Strong teamwork skills and flexibility
- 4Ability to keep information confidential
- 5Basic understanding of childcare regulations
- 6Obtain required clearances and complete health assessment with TB screening
- 7Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
