Assistant Store Manager, Retail Fashion - Lovisa
Overview
You will own store operations and team performance at our Cumberland Mall location, serving a high-foot-traffic fashion accessories market. You will partner with the Store Manager to coach and develop associates while driving sales through front-line leadership. The role spans inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer experience, with direct impact on shrink and store KPIs. What You'll Do9
- 1Coach and develop associates on customer service standards and sales techniques, using Shopify POS and Lovisa product knowledge
- 2Drive daily sales by setting clear targets and leading team huddles around sales KPIs and conversion rates
- 3Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and store security checks
- 4Oversee inventory cycles and stockroom organization, using RF scanners and inventory management software to track stock levels
- 5Process shipments and manage merchandise flow, ensuring accurate product placement and tagging
- 6Maintain visual merchandising standards per Lovisa's guidelines, including window displays and fixture layouts
- 7Resolve customer concerns with a solution-oriented approach, escalating as needed to maintain customer satisfaction
- 8Support payroll and scheduling by tracking associate hours and aligning coverage with traffic patterns
- 9Monitor and implement shrink prevention measures, including loss prevention protocols and camera review
Requirements8
- 12+ years retail management experience in fashion or accessories retail
- 2Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-volume environments
- 3Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team and customer interactions
- 4Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including training and performance feedback
- 5Passion for retail and fashion, with up-to-date product knowledge
- 6Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 7Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
