Assistant Store Manager Dollar Tree Stores INC
Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities help customers maintain promotional displays order merchandise and manage inventory. This role requires strong communication skills and adherence to safety policies.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- 2Help customers positively and address concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives such as pull hold destroy and task compliance
- 6Maintain promotional effectiveness of store front fixtures
- 7Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged items
- 8Record keep payroll scheduling and cash transactions
- 9Protect company assets including cash
- 10Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure policy compliance
- 11Supervise train and develop store associates
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to read and interpret operational directives
- 3Store management experience in retail grocery or drug stores preferred
- 4Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- 5Strong communication interpersonal and written skills
- 6Excellent customer service organizational and problem solving abilities
- 7Ability to work in a high energy team environment
- 8Exceptional organizational skills
