We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, enhance customer experiences, and develop teams. You will oversee daily activities, ensure compliance, and maintain store standards while supporting the Store Manager in leadership tasks.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- 2Help customers positively and resolve concerns
- 3Transfer merchandise between delivery trucks and stockrooms
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy
- 6Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures
- 7Order merchandise and handle damaged items
- 8Record keep payroll scheduling and cash transactions
- 9Protect company assets and enforce safety policies
- 10Supervise and train store associates
- 11Ensure cleanliness and organization of sales floor and stockroom
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to read and explain operational directives
- 3Store management experience in retail or similar environments preferred
- 4Ability to lift 55 lbs from floor to shoulder height
- 5Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- 6Experience with inventory systems and POS platforms
- 7Commitment to teamwork and positive work environment
- 8Familiarity with retail processes and customer service standards
