Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, enhance customer experiences, and develop teams. You will oversee daily activities, ensure store standards, and support the Store Manager in achieving excellence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day operations
- 2Help customers positively and resolve concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy tasks
- 6Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures
- 7Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged items
- 8Record keep payroll scheduling and cash transactions
- 9Protect company assets and adhere to safety policies
- 10Supervise and train Store Associates
- 11Ensure store cleanliness and organization
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- 3Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 4Experience in retail or grocery store management
- 5Experience with operational directives like merchandise schematics
- 6Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
- 7Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
Salary Insight
$40 - $42k per year
