Assistant Store Manager - Dollar Tree

What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
- 2Help customers in a positive approachable manner addressing questions or concerns
- 3Transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor as needed
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures including Pull HoldDestroy and Task Compliance
- 5Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays
- 6Process all corporate directives such as Key Survey information requests
- 7Ensure promotional displays and sales floor remain well-stocked and organized
- 8Protect company assets including store cash and secure all physical inventory
- 9Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure associates follow company policies
- 10Supervise, train, and develop store associates under Store Manager supervision
- 11Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathroom cleaning and floor maintenance
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred with ability to interpret operational directives
- 2Store management experience in retail grocery or drug store environments preferred
- 3Ability to lift 55 lbs from floor to above shoulder height
- 4Strong communication interpersonal and written skills required
- 5Proven problem solving and decision making abilities
- 6Exceptional customer service organizational and communication skills
- 7Experience with POS systems and inventory management software
- 8Commitment to teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment
- 9Valid driver’s license for transportation duties if applicable
