What You'll Do11
- 1Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals of the property
- 2Lead property tours showcasing all amenities and market the property through advertising phone inquiries and tours
- 3Help set standards for staff engagement with prospective and current residents
- 4Train staff and model effective sales techniques daily
- 5Lead rent collection efforts including lease termination and legal action when necessary
- 6Assist in managing the property budget to increase net operating income
- 7Maintain accuracy of resident ledgers and files
- 8Inspect units during move-in and move-out processes and conduct community walks
- 9Fill the role of acting Property Manager in absence
- 10Perform physical duties such as walking up to four flights of stairs and driving to local businesses for outreach
- 11Maintain a professional appearance while interacting with diverse groups of people
Requirements12
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience
- 3Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills
- 4Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives for new developments preferred
- 5Ability to work flexible schedule based on staffing and property needs
- 6Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation
- 7High integrity and ability to admit mistakes
- 8Physical capability to walk up to four flights of stairs and drive to various locations
- 9Professional grooming and demeanor
- 10Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- 11Knowledge of internet email and social media marketing
- 12Competitive compensation range $43,500 - $57,200 plus commission
