Assistant Property Manager, Property Management & Leasing

What You'll Do10
- 1Build and deliver site tours to prospective residents and close leases to achieve occupancy goals
- 2Respond to inquiries by phone or in person and convert interest into qualified leads and scheduled tours
- 3Prepare and explain lease documents accurately and ensure timely move-ins
- 4Maintain product knowledge of property and competitors through site visits and market research
- 5Follow policy and procedures for applicant qualification, screening, and acceptance
- 6Respond to resident requests and resolve issues to minimize complaints and maintain satisfaction
- 7Coordinate recertifications and LIHTC paperwork as required
- 8Participate in special projects and duties essential for property operations
- 9Utilize Yardi software to manage leasing data and reporting
- 10Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and all applicable laws
Requirements10
- 1Proven experience in leasing and property management within market-rate or LIHTC environments
- 2Strong sales and customer-service skills with ability to conduct compelling site tours
- 3Experience with Yardi software preferred
- 4Excellent communication and documentation skills for lease-related paperwork
- 5Familiarity with recertifications and LIHTC processes a plus
- 6Ability to work onsite in Washington DC area and manage multiple tasks
- 7Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance requirements
- 8Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 9Demonstrated ability to resolve resident issues professionally
- 10Experience in a fast-paced sales-oriented environment
