What You'll Do11
- 1Ensure accurate specimen collection through supervision of staff and direction of supervisory personnel
- 2Develop and coach lead staff via training and performance evaluations
- 3Analyze operational data to monitor efficiency and identify improvements
- 4Maintain adherence to federal state and company regulations including CLIA
- 5Schedule staff and review payroll to maintain workflow efficiency
- 6Build client relationships through exceptional service and proactive issue resolution
- 7Monitor testing processes to meet turnaround time standards
- 8Manage laboratory supply inventory and implement cost-effective ordering practices
- 9Create initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- 10Communicate operational issues with internal and external partners
- 11Utilize electronic systems like web portals and EMR integration to enhance functionality
Requirements11
- 15+ years managing laboratory teams in healthcare settings
- 2Clinical Laboratory Technology background preferred
- 3Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- 4Strong customer service orientation with client satisfaction focus
- 5Proven organizational and time-management abilities
- 6Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality systems such as CLIA
- 7Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking
- 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word
- 9Flexibility for extended shifts including evenings and weekends
- 10Regular standing and occasional bending required
- 11Physical ability to handle equipment and drive
