Seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive operational excellence across multiple Dallas Family Dollar locations. You will own daily store functions and foster a positive customer experience while developing talent. This role blends leadership with hands-on management in a fast‑moving retail setting.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day‑to‑day activities
- 2Help customers positively and resolve inquiries
- 3Transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
- 5Process corporate directives including Pull HoldDestroy and Task Compliance
- 6Maintain promotional displays and order merchandise
- 7Handle damaged goods and record keeping tasks
- 8Keep store areas stocked and organized to company standards
- 9Protect cash assets and enforce safety guidelines
- 10Supervise and train associates during shifts
- 11Ensure cleanliness through bathroom cleaning and floor maintenance
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Store management experience in retail or grocery environments
- 3Ability to lift 55 lbs from floor to shoulder height
- 4Strong communication and interpersonal skills
