Overview
The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in executing program objectives. This role involves instruction on fundamentals strategy and physical training to achieve athlete success. The position reports to the Building Principal. It differs from other roles by focusing on assistant-level leadership within extracurricular athletics.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assist the Head Coach in carrying out his/her duties
- 2Ensure knowledge of school district state and league rules
- 3Maintain professional appearance during practices and contests
- 4Supervise athletes safely and conduct practices
- 5Teach sport fundamentals as outlined by the Head Coach
- 6Develop good sportsmanship and cooperative work ethic among athletes
- 7Communicate player or parent concerns to the Head Coach and Athletic Director
- 8Direct injured players to the Athletic Trainer and report injuries to the nurse
- 9Keep emergency cards on athletes at all times
- 10Submit team records awards and equipment documentation at season end

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Certified CPR
- 33-5 seasons coaching experience
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
