Assistant Center Director, Mathnasium MN & STEM Growth
Overview
K-12 math leadership role responsible for guiding instructors and driving student outcomes at a Mathnasium center in Albertville MN. You will partner with the Center Director to recruit develop and coach staff and to grow enrollments through community engagement and targeted marketing. You will foster a positive learning environment that connects parents schools and community partners around a passion for math and STEM
What You'll Do10
- 1Build a high performing center team by recruiting mentoring and scheduling Instructors and Lead Instructors
- 2Design and deliver engaging math programs that improve student understanding and outcomes within the first 90 days
- 3Promote the use and application of technology to deliver customized digital learning plans for each student
- 4Foster a positive atmosphere for parents and students and provide ongoing progress feedback in written and oral form
- 5Collaborate with other centers and staff to ensure success of all students
- 6Drive enrollment growth through creative marketing social media and events
- 7Improve onboarding and processes by applying continuous improvement methodologies
- 8Own Google Business Profile and Microsite content and manage local online presence
- 9Manage inbound sales leads and accelerate conversion through targeted outreach
- 10Represent the center in community events building trust with parents schools and stakeholders
Requirements10
- 15+ years of leadership experience in education or youth programs
- 2Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with parents and students
- 3Growth mindset with a track record of setting and achieving goals
- 4Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality
- 5Proficiency with technology to support teaching and learning
- 6Demonstrated passion for math and STEM
- 7Experience in tutoring or teach roles at Kumon Sylvan or Huntington is a plus
- 8Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels
- 9Experience with K-12 math education or similar setting
- 10Energetic positive attitude and willingness to engage with community partners
