Overview
You'll assemble precision parts for semiconductors, medical devices, and advanced tech hardware at a high-precision machine shop. Your work involves installing Helicoils and Dowel Pins, and verifying tolerances with calipers and height gauges. You'll collaborate with the Quality Control team and maintain Job Traveler documentation. This role gives you direct impact on 100% customer satisfaction in a clean, safety-first environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Assemble parts per manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and assembly procedures, including Helicoils and Dowel Pins installation.
- 2Inspect completed assemblies to ensure tolerances and quality standards, using calipers and height gauges.
- 3Keep workstations clean and organized, maintaining tools and equipment per safety guidelines.
- 4Collaborate with the Quality Control team to meet customer requirements and flag discrepancies.
- 5Document progress on Job Traveler files throughout each assembly process.
- 6Report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or defects to supervisors immediately.
- 7Follow all safety procedures, manufacturing requirements, and company policies without exception.
Requirements8
- 11-2 years in machine shop assembly, with hands-on Helicoil and Dowel Pin installation.
- 2Ability to read simple blueprints, drawings, and assembly documentation.
- 3Proficiency with calipers, height gauges, hand tools, and box cutters.
- 4Strong hand-eye coordination for small components in a controlled environment.
- 5Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- 6High School Diploma or GED required.
- 7Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and accuracy.
- 8Ability to work independently and with a team.
