You will troubleshoot pneumatic systems, replace solenoid valves, and read electrical schematics daily. This position offers $30/hr starting pay and a permanent onsite role in Grandview, MO.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Follow Lead Technician guidance to perform routine inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and component replacements.
  • 2Respond to equipment breakdowns, assisting with diagnosis, disassembly, and reassembly of machinery.
  • 3Assist with spare parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, and issuing parts from maintenance cribs.
  • 4Develop proficiency in CMMS platforms, accurately completing work orders and supporting data accuracy for maintenance KPIs.
  • 5Maintain exemplary safety practices and complete all required safety training.
  • 6Use diagnostic tools like multimeters, tachometers, and pressure gauges to identify equipment issues.
  • 7Replace sensors and switches while applying basic electrical safety knowledge.
  • 8Support machine uptime by performing preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and chain drives.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
  • 3Mechanical aptitude in bearings, seals, chain drives, belt drives, and conveyor systems.
  • 4Basic electrical safety knowledge and skills with multimeter use, sensor/switch replacement, and motor identification.
  • 5Understanding of pneumatic systems, including air preparation units and solenoid valves.
  • 6Proficiency in lubrication systems and contamination prevention.
  • 7Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • 8Willingness to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • 9Commitment to completing the 8,000-hour Apprenticeship Program requirements.
  • 10Basic welding skills (MIG or stick) are a plus.
