Overview
IPG Photonics seeks an assembler to prepare fibers for medical surgical products. This entry level position involves processing fiber using hand tools and light power tools. Candidates must align, modify, and build equipment while ensuring quality standards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Aligns and joins parts into housing
- 2Modifies and fabricates equipment using power tools and hand tools
- 3Sells fiber according to specifications
- 4Adds RFD tags and measures fiber alignment
- 5Records orders in production database
- 6Retrieves completed fibers for packaging and labeling
- 7Sends fiber to sterilizer and Quality Assurance
- 8Solves minor issues and identifies larger problems requiring supervisor help
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or vocational school graduate
- 2Ability to read work instructions and schematics
- 3Basic computer literacy
- 4Physical ability to lift 15 lbs
