Production Assembler
Overview

What You'll Do11
- 1Assemble and prepare fiber optic cables according to work orders and specifications
- 2Apply process instructions and quality guidelines to meet production standards
- 3Follow supervisor directions and coordinate workflow with engineers and colleagues
- 4Communicate status updates clearly and adjust tone for diverse audiences
- 5Maintain labor and output targets while tracking material usage
- 6Cross‑train across departments to address shifting production needs
- 7Instruct and support coworkers and subcontract staff as required
- 8Work overtime to satisfy production demands
- 9Conduct in‑process and final inspections to identify and correct defects
- 10Operate hand tools power tools and splicing equipment safely
- 11Maintain a clean safe work area and report hazards promptly
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2General assembly experience preferred
- 3Ability to distinguish colors and possess strong hand‑eye coordination
- 4Manual dexterity and precision for detailed tasks
- 5Capacity to lift 40 pounds repetitively
- 6Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- 7Flexibility to handle varied part sizes and work in fast‑paced settings

- 9Strong ability to follow written SOPs and perform basic arithmetic
