Assembler B - Rupture Disc Assembly
Overview
You will assemble rupture disc units to the highest quality standards for energy sector applications at Baker Hughes. You will prepare components for shipment using precision tasks like spot welding and leak testing. You will operate production equipment including presses and co-bots, and contribute to manufacturing efficiency. This role offers hands-on work in a high-volume environment with opportunities to develop automated machine skills. What You'll Do10
- 1Trim Teflon and prepare materials for assembly.
- 2Clean rupture disc and holder components prior to assembly.
- 3Cut outside diameters of rupture discs.
- 4Perform spot welding of components.
- 5Operate presses and other required production equipment.
- 6Utilize co-bots and other automated or robotic equipment.
- 7Perform proof pressure and leak testing.
- 8Inspect completed assemblies for conformance with specifications.
- 9Assemble rupture disc units and prepare them for shipment.
- 10Supervise and utilize automated machines effectively.
Requirements10
- 1Have a high school diploma or GED.
- 2Have 1-3 months of experience in a production environment (preferred).
- 3Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- 4Possess basic math and reading skills.
- 5Have basic computer skills.
- 6Demonstrate working knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- 7Show strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.
- 8Be able to follow established manufacturing procedures and company policies.
- 9Demonstrate effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
